Returning to Wholeness

Returning to Wholeness Trauma, whether emotional, physical, or sexual, has an enormous impact on our lives.  Trauma breaks safety on the level of mind, body and spirit.  Un-mended trauma takes on a life of its own, impacting relationship, belonging, and our perception and experience of the world. Ultimately, it can dictate happiness, our lives, our selves.

If you are a survivor of trauma you may experience any the following symptoms:

Difficulty falling or staying asleep

Irritability, moodiness or outbursts of anger

Difficulty concentrating

Hyper-vigilance

Anxiety or panic moments to a degree beyond what you might call “normal”

Exaggerated startle response

Feeling detached or less connected from others that you’d like (hard time creating meaningful relationships)

Restricted range of affect (e.g., inability to experience loving feelings, upset, sadness, etc.)

Uncertainty of yours or others’ boundaries

If you recognize yourself in at least two of the above, this course is for you.

In Returning to Wholeness, you will begin the journey back to your wholeness; learning skills to respond and restore your body and yourself. Specifically, you will:

Understand the impact of childhood trauma on your life

Learn to recognize and respond to the recurrent and automatic (“triggered”) reactions you have that  are a repercussion of trauma

Learn practices that will build new mind/body skills supporting your resilience, resourcefulness, wellness and wholeness

Heal your heart in ways that offer new possibilities for you, your relationships and your life

Join us in a safe and gentle environment to begin or continue the process of healing from loss of innocence, betrayal of trust, and stolen self-esteem.
